Knights of Columbus

Council 8170

The Knights of Columbus is a men’s fraternal organization. The purpose of the society is to develop a practical Catholicity among its members, to promote Catholic education and charity. The Knights at St. Paul the Apostle, Council 8170, help the parish in various ways throughout the year including, but not limited to, the maintenance of the grounds.


The Knights meet on the second Tuesday of the month. Call the parish office to contact them at 361-937-3864.

Congratulations and thank you to Miss Debbie and Deacon Frank for their decades of faithful witness, dedication to St. Paul’s catechetical program, leading Eucharistic Adoration, and constant support across all parish ministries!

 Rosary Rally Thank You (October 10)

 Thank you to the Legion of Mary and President Corey Joseph for coordinating the America Needs Fatima Rosary Rally at the St. Mary Grotto, and to Deacon Frank for providing the official banner and materials.

 Special thanks to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for raising their voices in prayer and providing delicious food afterward, to our Brother Knights who assisted with logistics and prayer leadership, and to Alice Olaes for capturing beautiful photos of our devotion to Our Lady!

 FIAT Women’s Retreat (October 22–25)

A heartfelt thank you to all the Brother Knights and volunteers who stepped up this past week to transport luggage, cook meals, and support the ladies attending the FIAT Women’s Retreat at Our Lady of Corpus Christi!

 Cowboy Raffle Tickets & Annual BBQ Drive-Thru

  • Event Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026 (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
  • Tickets & Brisket Plates: See any Brother Knight after Mass today to purchase $10 Cowboy Raffle Tickets (Grand Prize: 2 Cowboys vs. Eagles Thanksgiving tickets + hotel stay!) or to pick up ticket booklets to sell.
  • Impact: All proceeds directly benefit the Father McGivney Fund to assist local families in need and support council charitable outreach.
